Mushroom Fun

I love the fun element of these uber funky quilted stools by Swiss designer, Véronique Baer, that squish down when sat on and bounce back up when the sitter stands up.

Her aim was to "create a seat which will adapt totally to any kind of body shape and which will therefore offer the maximum amount of comfort."  The seats are created by gluing together two pieces…

Country Chic in Western Spain

Imagine glittering skies, Kalamata olives, green pastures and lush interiors…Imagine this was your life…and home.

Madrid studio, Ábaton, has rebuilt a crumbling stone stable in the countryside of western Spain and converted the building into a self-sufficient family home.  Located miles away from the nearest town, the old building was too remote to be connected…

The Bridge Bistro- De Hoek Country Hotel

Taking a break from bustling city life in Johannesburg doesn’t mean going a bridge too far...actually I did it with a bunch of girlfriends at the new Bridge Bistro Restaurant, at the gorgeous De Hoek Country Hotel in Magaliesburg, only an hour away from Johannesburg.

De Hoek country hotel, a five-star establishment, has a well-earned reputation when it comes to gourmet dining and the sumptuous Conservatory restaurant provides the fine dining and wine pairing that discerning…

The fashion trends appeared on NYC’s runways during the 2013 Spring/Summer fashion…

House of Harlow 1960 – Now in SA

One of my favourite, ever-so-stylish celebs has to be Nicole Richie.  She always looks so feminine with an avant-garde twist, giving her that overall polished look which she pulls off with the help of her own signature label, House of Harlow 1960 which is now available in South Africa.

Labelled by Vogue as the “Queen of summer dressing”, Nicole Richie’s House…
