Classical music lovers will be thrilled to hear that the first week of the new 7-week season of the Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra is imminent. The Tchaikovsky celebration concert on Wednesday 7 and Thursday 8 August will kick-start the JPO’s comeback at the Linder Auditorium in Parktown, conducted by Robert Maxym. Piano soloist is Pallavi Mahidhara.

All concerts are held at the Linder Auditorium, 27 St Andrews Rd, Parktown.  

 Time: 8pm. with free pre-concert talk (Linder only) at 7.15pm.

Tickets cost R225 to R300.  Booking for all concerts through Computicket or at the Box Office on the night.
