Darcel 150/15 Exhibition At Colette

Darcel is a New York City based artist with Australian origins, she has been working with Colette for seven years now, for his blog he relates to the misfortunes of his principal character. His blog’s visual approach is alive with requested artists collaborations where small scenes become big adventures. The exhibition of his solo show “150/15” at Colette Paris is purely to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the French concept store and will be running from Febuary 27th to March 31st, 2012. The exhibition features 150 portraits done by Darcel himself whereby fashion, art and design will be featured. Celebrities from different biospheres of fashion, music, design, photography are avid followers of Darcel’s work. From Bill Cunningham (NYT) to Xavier & Gaspard (Justice), Emmanuelle Alt to Coco Chanel, Juergen Teller to Jeremy Scott, you can find gorgeous and funny portraits that were made to show the personalities of the Colette story.
