Renowned for her dramatic fashion choices, Daphne Guinness channelled her unconventional taste into her new make-up line for MAC - citing "pigeon's blood" and "how the intricate wings of a butterfly resemble the images of deepest space" as her inspiration.

Like most icon's in fashion, you never really know what to expect from Daphne Guinnessregarding her fashion and style. Now her fashion antics are moving from her outfits to her face. Her new range for MAC cosmetics is highly anticipated and while we love her outrageousness, we’re thrilled her collection is composed of a color palate that seems wearable by us "neutral's".

The collection is based upon Guinness' love for dressing up and includes basic noir, soft blushes, feminine lip glosses in violet, lilac and pale blue, nail lacquers and liners. And let's not forget about the purple hues. These shades of purple allow us to be daring without appearing too over the top.

"It seems to me that the only point of being a human being is being able to transform the way you look!" she said, according to Fashionista. "I tried to make myself look Japanese [as a child]…But instead of make-up I would use watercolors or acrylics or anything I could get my hands on."
