Che Guevara, Brigette Bardot, Jane Birkin and Brigette Bardot

I always love taking photographs when I am at parties, especially when someone gives me their expensive camera, my whole personality changes and I feel like I am a professional photographic journalist here to capture the moment, the mood and the setting. 'Let the photo say a thousand words'-but what my friends mean by this gesture of giving me the camera is …take photos of me looking like a supermodel, or rock star. Heaven help the 'delete' button if my angle is wrong or my subjects blink, or the most popular, when an unattractive stunt double quickly comes in at the exact moment when I press the button to capture the moment. Their immediate reaction is "this does not look like me, I look awful take it again!!". If I take 58 photos only 10 will see the light. The 'delete' button has become more of a necessity than the flash. Ask anyone if they had to choose one or the other, hands down the flash would be in the trash.

I love action photographs because when you catch a moment there seems to be an unexpected beauty of a person almost like you captured a private thought, it is an intimacy that needs no words.

The following pictures are photographs that express what I mean.

Obviously I will not show the pictures that I have taken, so that I can protect the innocent, or if I am being honest, the stone throwing from my rock star and supermodel friends.

Jeremy Irons and Meryl Streep, Johnny Depp and his Niece, Bebe Buell and Steven Tyler

Once upon a time..not so long ago, there was no delete button on cameras..miss the good all days when you just tore up the bad photos once they were developed!

Capturing the good moments of life, the real moments, the unquestionable moments.
