Danielle Franco is one of our stylish Jo'burg fundis, she promotes beauty brands and creates fabulous events around them. Neofundi caught up with her at the luxurious One & Only Hotel in Cape Town where she hosted the Pond’s event.

1)What do you love most about your Public Relations work?
I love working with different clients, different brands and on different projects, but most of all I love working on events and working with the Beauty Editors.

2)Which is your favourite place for? 
Manicures: Gloss Nail and Beauty in Birdhaven. The stylish decor, resembles upmarket spas you’d find in places like New York. Its has a relaxed atmosphere and the service is excellent...you’ll love it.
Hotel:The Saxon Hotel.
Coffee: tasha's Melrose Arch, it’s delightful.
Lemon meringue: Nice on 4th at the corner of 14th Street and 4th Avenue in Parkhurst.
Breakfast: Service Station Restaurant in Melville. I love it because everyone is friendly and the food is delicious.
Drinks: I have to say, Café Caprice in Camps Bay. It is the original & most famous ‘Eat, Drink and Play’ venue in Cape Town. It offers the ultimate hangout for a cool set looking to dine on delicious food, sip on sundowners. It’s a mix of locals & international visitors and you can mingle with famous international artists, actors, models and sports stars.


3)If you weren’t in PR, what would be your ideal job?
I would be a famous Artist living in New York.

4)If there is one thing you could change in the world what would it be?
Moving Johannesburg to Cape Town.

6)What fragrance do you wear?
Emporio Armani Lei, it has a Oriental Vanilla note with pineapple, lime, tuberose, mandarin orange, pear and bergamot top notes.
Infusion d'Iris Prada for women,It has notes of mandarin, galbanum, orange and orange blossom. The base is composed of incense and benzoin. The fragrance was designed by Daniela Roche-Andrier of Givaudan. I love the elegant glass bottle which is reminiscent of retro perfume bottles.


7)Favourite shoe and bag brand?
Ok now we talking, for Bags, Louis Vuitton & Shoes it has to be the following: The wonderful Tod's shoes, Prada pumps and my all-time favourite, Repetto ballerina flats. Repetto Shoes were first designed for ballet dancers, but they became popular in 1956, because Brigitte Bardot wore the shoes(Ballerine Cendrillon Collection) in the movie french movie, Et Dieu Créa La Femme.

8)Best holiday you’ve been on?
The One and Only Le Touessrok in Mauritius!! I went there with my sister Natalie and I had the best time of my life!

9)Sweet or Savoury?
Sweet! For sure.

10)If you had a genie in a bottle what would you ask for?
A handsome sexy, kind man who will love and adore me! With mega bucks!
