Best Geek Chic

Hackers (1995)
Proving that computer nerds can be sexy, a Vulcan-coiffed Jolie made her feature film breakthrough and married her costar Jonny Lee Miller.

Best Bad Role Model

Gia (1998)
Starring as self-destructive '80s supermodel Gia Carangi in the HBO film, Jolie won her second straight Golden Globe for a TV movie (the first was for 1997's George Wallace).

This TV movie could be considered as Angelina Jolie’s real coming out as a dedicated actress.  She presented the main character in a believable and passionate sense letting the viewer experience the downward spiral of drug addiction.

Best Life - Imitates Art Role

Pushing Tin (1999)
Before the brief marriage, tattoos, and vials of blood, Billy Bob Thornton and Jolie met as costars, playing a quirky, intense air traffic controller and his lonely, oversexed wife.

Best Crazy Person

Girl, Interrupted (1999)

The costar (Angelina) who stole the spotlight form Wynona Ryder, performes in this challenging role as a clinical patient. Her performance is heart wrenching and leaves the viewer pleading. I loved this film.

Most Thankless Part

The Bone Collector (1999)
Cop Amelia Donaghy (Jolie) must serve as the eyes, ears, and legs of her quadriplegic partner, Lincoln Rhyme (Denzel Washington), as they track a serial killer. Angelina Jolie’s compassion for her co-stars character was evident in her voice and actions.  Focused and determined she also depicted the intensity of her characters work towards capturing a serial killer.

Best excuse for Playing a Videogame Heroine

Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001)
Talking to EW, Jolie described acrobatic archaeologist Croft as a privileged gal ''who does amazing things but is completely out of her mind in a really wicked way. She's a lot like me, actually.''

Possibly the first action packed film of Angelina Jolie’s career thus far, this film marked her transition into another genre.  Hard hitting action coupled with her elegance in their execution made this move a hit

Best Bath Scene

Original Sin (2001)
The chemistry between Jolie and Antonio Banderas in this period piece about a wealthy Cuban landowner who marries a femme fatale, is worth the watch.

Best Twist & Turn

Taking Lives (2004)

A psychological thriller with Ethan Hawke and Angelina Jolie. She plays a top FBI profiler that lets her guard down and allows the psychopath to get the better of her.  The character was intense, yet vulnerable qualities at odd with one another, displayed by Jolie as second nature.

Best Kinky Cameo

Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow (2004)
As British officer Franky Cook, an ally and former flame of Joe ''Sky Captain'' Sullivan (Jude Law), Jolie proves she can make even an eye patch sexy.

Fishiest Femme Fatale

Shark Tale (2004)
Voicing a golddigging lion fish with familiar-looking lips, Jolie plays Lola, who flirts with newly-famous Oscar (Will Smith) while sweet angelfish Angie (Renée Zellweger) pines in the background.

Hottest Mother Role

Alexander (2004)
Historical drama about the battles of Alexander. Jolie, played Olympias, mother to Alexander the Great, played by Colin Farrell. Director Oliver Stone created a visually brilliant movie.  Jolie is exquisite in her depiction of Olympia’s.  Her elegance is present in the delivery of her lines and just as one may believe Olympia’s to have been. This is one of my favourites.

Best Assassination Team

Mr. and Mrs. Smith (2005)
Director Doug Liman's film is about a married pair of contract killers. Sexy and stylish film with some pretty decent action scenes, it'll probably be best remembered for bringing together — off screen, eventually — Jolie and Brad Pitt. This movie was eye candy and a must see.

Most Domestic

The Good Shepherd (2006)
In her small role as the frustrated wife of a CIA agent (Matt Damon), Jolie was ''lassoed in ladylike dresses and pearls,'' wrote EW critic Lisa Schwarzbaum.

Most Challenging Role

A Mighty Heart (2007)
''I don't think there was a day on set I was confident of what I was doing, but I knew my heart was in the right place,'' Jolie told EW about playing Mariane Pearl, the freelance journalist whose husband, Daniel, was kidnapped and ultimately beheaded, on camera, in Pakistan in '02. Besides the role's emotional challenges, Jolie also transformed her look and her accent during the fraught shoot in India.

This movie was brilliant and heart breaking!

Best Mother Of All Evil

Beowulf (2007)
Jolie has portrayed a mother (in Alexander) and a seductress (in almost everything else), but with Robert Zemeckis' totally CG film, she combined the two. As the demon who sired the hideous Grendel and bedded the egotistical Geat hero, Jolie played right into the image many have of her: irresistible.

Most Cuddly Martial Artist

Kung Fu Panda (2008)
As Tigress, she was the deadliest of the Furious Five — a quintet of kung-fu heroes trained to defeat the villainous Tai Lung (Ian McShane) — and the one you most wanted to hug. Voice over!  The ability of an actor or actress can be measured in films where they do not even physically appear.  Jolies voice over in Kung Foo Panda provides an entirely different side of Jolie.  This role is enjoyable, fun not only to watch but to listen too.

Sexiest Professional Assassin

Wanted (2008)
With her mysterious ways and physics-defying ballistic moves, Jolie is sexier than ever and her co star James McAvoy is brilliant to watch. This film should be considered a top ten pick because it again represents a change for the actress.  Not futuristic like Lara Croft, but every bit as action packed.  Granted the moves are unbelievable but her ability to stylistically pull them off makes the film noteworthy.

a Most Stubborn Mother

Changeling(2008)

She takes mother's intuition and love to a new level in this quiet Clint Eastwood-directed movie about a woman's search for her missing child. The true story of a child’s disappearance, a mother’s fight to find her child, and a police department that fails to understand that bond.  Of all the roles Jolie has played this is possibly the most challenging.  The premise of the story is hard to grasp even today, yet Jolie does so and presents a saddened mother frantic with fear, worry and disbelief.

Best Double (Double) Agent

Salt (2010)
This post cold-war Soviet plot thriller worked in large part thanks to her frantic-then-calculating turn as CIA agent Evelyn Salt.

Most Inexplicable Comedy

The Tourist (2010)
Jolie's turn as the mysterious Elise who meets up with Johnny Depp's seemingly hapless traveler earned her a Golden Globe nomination for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy. I loved the twist in this film.
