Barbara Metz and Eve Racine, two well-known photographers whom met whilst studying at the London College of Communication are two vibrant artists which have a colourful ability to transport us into their world of shapes and forms, often portraying a fight between realism and surrealism.
Together they’ve evolved their skill and vision towards their interpretation of a bright and glorious future through the lens, whilst portraying a way of life they wish you to see. They’ve shot for renowned designers such as Hermes, Lacoste and Louis Vuitton to name a few, and also focus on film, earning them a reputation of vibrant modern photographers.
Asked to do an editorial for Casa da Abitare Magazine, they’ve showcased multiple objects to create surreal environments that are a play on scale and perception whilst using many modern colours to bring their vision across.
They have an amazing artistic balance which is eye-catching and with them always paying attention to the finer details, I find myself staring at their images, ensuring I haven’t missed a thing.
