THESIS

I was introduced to this venue by a friend of mine from CT. How awful is that, I needed a person from CT to tell me about an amazing venue in Jozi. In fairness to me I am a whitey and the venue is in Soweto.

Thesis is situated at 173 Machaba Drive in Mofolo Central. The clothing label "Thesis" has a concept store there and the event "Thesis Social Jam" is in the parking lot of the store, the entire lot is closed off and a Bedouin tent put up, a full stage, lighting and a bar. The sponsors flock to this location, Play Energy Drink was there as was a cigarette company. Its no wonder they are flocking really, Thesis Social Jam happens the first sunday of every month and it is packed packed with the coolest kids I have ever seen, dressed to the nines like Tokyo Teenagers and pulling it off.

The clothing from the Thesis store is super cool, locally produced/sourced/made ... everything.
