Every year since 1992, Montblanc pays tribute to great writers who have become part of world literature. This year they are honouring British-Irish writer, poet, essayist and creator of the satiric masterpiece: “Gulliver’s Travels”, Jonathan Swift. The design of this immaculately made pen draws inspiration from the film itself and in particular, the Lilliput episode, Gulliver’s first voyage.

The pen bears the signature of Jonathan Swift and a platinum plated clip represents the staircase that the mayor of Lilliput had to climb in order to be able to talk to Gulliver. Furthermore, the gentle design of the instrument is rhodium plated with an 18K gold nib that has been decorated with an engraving showing the imperial army of Lilliput marching between Gulliver’s legs. The Jonathan Swift writer’s edition is only available in a strictly limited edition worldwide, with an issue number that has been engraved on the cap as a guarantee of its exclusivity. It is available in Fountain Pen, Rollerball, Ballpoint Pen and Mechanical Pencil.
