I find it fascinating how German artist Moki delivers a solid piece of art through the use of integrating paintings with textured grains of wood. She graduated from the Academy of fine arts in Hamburg taking away the skills of photography, animation, sculpture, comics and illustration. She also runs the independent art space “Hinterconti” in collaboration with friends, and is a part of the BeetoBee Collective, a group that connects artists from European and Asian cultures. Furthermore she has published two books Wandering Ghost (2011) and How to Disappear (2010).
