From Haute Couture to fragrance…In 2004 Giorgio Armani translated the spirit of his haute couture collections to create Armani / Privé fragrances. He worked each fragrance with an accomplished art; like the inside of a haute couture garment is as beautiful as everything that surrounds it, each moment of a fragrance is a delicious balance, uncompromising perfection, to the nearest milligram.

A collection for friends to a collection for aficionados.

Giorgio Armani’s project came from a completely personal desire that his friends persuaded him to share, on a small scale, with those who love his clothes and the spirit behind his work.

Les Eaux: A hymn to nature. Like each stroke of an impressionist painter, Giorgio Armani portrays legendary gardens: he evokes the water at the very heart of a plant, quenching the thirst of the roots, coursing through the stems, branches, leaves and flowers. He retells the memories of terraces and waterfalls, patios and fountains, the scents of the flowers, leaves and wood.

La Collection:The mythical accords of Perfumery. It is the respectful homage of a contemporary designer to the history of perfume-making and its great mythical accords. To create La Collection Giorgio Armani looked to the huge repertoire of perfume accords that have been developed by master perfumers which are a little like the Parthenon of smell: perfectly balanced, they were accepted by the elders as the scented demonstration of the existence of the golden ratio in perfumery.

Les Mille Et Une Nuits: A hymn to the most famous legends of The Middle East: “One Thousand and one Night”. Giorgio Armani showcases ARMANI/PRIVE “La Collection des Mille et Une Nuits”, a contemporaryreinterpretationof this universal legend, a capsule collection which is about to unravel the infinite splendours of the Orient: from the blue nights of the desert to the light of dawn…
