Feather your restful nest by bringing warmth into it in the form of luxuriant rugs, beautiful lamps, cosy throws, rich colours and lush textiles such as velvet, leather, faux fur and mohair. 

Another one of my favourite ways to warm a room is by using different gradients of light.  If evenly distributed, an atmosphere is created like none other, calling for friends to come over and enjoy the vibe.  Use dim-lights, candles, lamps and even a chandelier if you’re lucky enough to own one to create the mood needed.  In my opinion, too much is never enough; I’d have the whole place lit up like a room ready for take-off.

It’s time to snuggle up, ruffle your feathers, hibernate and make the most of the grubby weather to come.  Make sure you’re geared up so that your inner disposition is not as icy as the outer limits.
