We get to chat with Clinton De Beer, winner of the first Bar-One Manhunt. The all new 2012 series kicks off on the 17th of May at 20h00, Clinton is one of the judges and neofundi is proud to have him as a member.

What was the deciding factor that made you enter bar one manhunt?
I entered because I heard the advert every time I turned on the radio in my car, it was almost as if I was being challenged. I decided to fill in the on-line entry form and hope for the best but I must admit that deep down I thought that my chances were only 1 in a million...
Did you think you could go all the way?
I never really gave winning much thought, I was far too busy enjoying all of the once in a lifetime experiences that were being thrown my way on a daily basis, we got to summit mount Kilimanjaro, race camels in Dubai, jump out of an aeroplane, blow up a car and so many other life changing experiences.
What have you learnt about yourself from this adventure?
I've learned that nothing is impossible and the only limitations in our lives are the ones that we set for ourselves, I also learned that age is just a number - I was the oldest contestant on the show (the other contestants called me Dad) yet I still managed to win.
What can we expect in the next Bar One Man Hunt?
Action, drama, personality clashes and you may even see grown men being brought to tears...
What characteristics do you think a Bar One Man should have?
Honour, integrity, inner strength as well as being the guy that everyone wants to be around
Would you do it again?
In a heartbeat...It's comforting to know that I can't be eliminated this time around but I'd still love to get in on the action because the challenges and experiences are awesome this season.
What makes famous Clint different from ordinary Clint?
We're the same person, I'm the same no matter what I'm doing, where I am or who I'm with.
What do you think of reality tv?
My wife and I are reality tv junkies and that's why it was so strange when I landed up starring in and ultimately winning a reality tv show. It was so surreal and now I get to do it all again but this time I get to see it from a different angle.
What would you like to achieve next in your life?
I would like to see more of the world and spend as much time with my family as I possibly can. Life is over in an instant and so I've learned to savour every second on this incredible planet.
What is one thing you would like people to know about you?
That I'll never give up and will never back down from a challenge.
