The Eastgate LOF is a prestigious platform for local talent and aspiring models to launch their careers, and is the longest running, and most influential modelling competition to take place at any shopping centre in South Africa.
Brittany Ward walked away with the Eastgate LOF 2013 title and won prizes to the value of over R60, 000 which included an all-expenses paid trip to Las Vegas and a chance to compete at the Italian 2014 Ragazza Cinema International beauty competition. Brittany was crowned by the Eastgate LOF 2012 winner, Sharleen Dziire, Jordan Airey came in second place as First Princess and Reabetswe Sechoara in third place as Second Princess.
The audience was entertained by the dynamic Fever Trio, emcee Gert “G” Boshoff and fabulous prize giveaways.
Arthur Kaplan Jewellers and Stuttafords were the main sponsors for this event as well as other tenant and external participation.
This year’s panel of judges included Sir Franco D’Arrigo of D'Arrigo International, Jacinda Louw-Schutte (TV presenter and Survivor SA 2006 runner-up), Dunay Nortjie- Darren (model and Kurt Darren’s wife), Andre Arendse (South African footballer and Safe Hands Soccer coach), Annie Malan (South African TV Actress), Hester Wasserfall (Eastgate Centre Manager), Kennedy Tsimba (former Cheetahs Rugby Player), Matty Reid (International life skills trainer), Mastura Ahmed (Liberty Properties) and Nashil Chotoki (Liberty Properties). We were also graced by Celeste Khumalo’s (Miss SA Teen 2011and Eastgate LOF Princess 2011) presence.
