Sandi Caganoff Savadier-Interview

Sandi is so much more than a travel writer, she is also a risqué story teller and at times believed to glow in the dark.

Tell us a little about your blog?
www.sanddoestravel.blogspot.com is my official blogsite, filled with travel stories. I write a little about the places I visit, and a lot about the people I meet on the way. No one is safe.
Also love to write erotica, if anyone is reading this and wants to pay me for it, contact me now!
If you wrote your autobiography what would the title be?
There’s a Gogga in my Cleavage.

How would you best describe yourself?
I occasionally glow in the dark.

What is the one thing you cannot do without?
Sunblock factor 100.

Favourite destination?
Oh! Too many. Leshiba Wilderness in Venda has to be the most special place in South Africa. Also the Tsitsikamma Forest. And if overseas, well, India changed my life. Dying to go to Nepal and Cambodia.

If you had a genie in a bottle what would you ask for?
To get rid of my underarm flab.

If there is one thing you could change in SA what would it be?
Life is cheap in our country. We need to value ourselves and others more. I cannot bear that 43 people died in Marikana and we move on so quickly. We need to learn a lot more about respect and tolerance.

Which 4 famous people would you cook for and what would u make?
Anderson Cooper, CNN News Anchor. Hot and interesting.
Charles Bukowski, if he wasn’t dead. There’s something about sleaze and lowlife that I find fascinating.
Lady Gaga, for style advice.
Liam Neeson, for after dinner sex.
I am a shocker of a cook but I always know the best places to buy. Indian food from Punjab in Parkview. Maybe. Lots of wine.

Famous quote you love?
I don't agree with a word you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.(Voltaire)

Sweet or Savoury
You can find me at Moemas in Parktown North quite often, so sweet it is!

What has been your best day so far?
It will be the day I type the words THE END, on the book I’m writing.
