Poem - Advice To My Friend

"The gentle flame will keep you warm

When you realise you're not alone,

And when the realisation rings true

That's when God is holding you.

Be the same person you are

Even when the times are hard,

Don't give up in yourself my friend

Be the best you possibly can.

Be brave, be bold, be true to you

People will love the inner you,

Don't hide no more, it's time to play

Light your candle enjoy your day.

Life is for living so stop your dreaming

Put your foot forward and enjoy the ride,

Don't leave things for another day

Make life a pleasant way to stay.

Take what they give you with kindness and grace

Allowing wisdom to guide your pace,

And in your quiet confidence you will find,

The perfection of all mankind.

Comment by Nicolas Cocolas on June 28, 2011 at 12:04: I'm dusting off all my Leonard Cohen Cd's. He really is a genius. There's going to be an exhibition with his music and local art at the Thompson gallery in Melville starting on the 10th. Will be Spectacular.

I've finally started writing the book so let's see how it goes. It's called "Let the Night take the Blame".

After a dark period in his life he needed to leave everything and find imself and clean up he lived as a hermit in Hydra and Spetses.
