As Forbes announces the list of the highest paid supermodel for 2014, here we present to you with the Top 5 of the lot.

 Gisele Bundchen

A supermodel, actress and producer, the Brazilian model is today at the top of the fashion game across the globe. From debuting on the cover of leading fashion magazines to walking on the ramp at the Victoria's Secret show, the long-legged beauty pooled in $47 million in the last 12 months and is the highest paid supermodel in the world right now.

From being a face of the high street bestseller H&M to fashion labels Chanel and Carolina Herrera, the 34-year-old beauty also has her own lines of lingerie and fragrances.

 Doutzen Kroes

The Dutch supermodel, actor and new mother is second on this list, with earnings totaling $8 million in the last year. She's got contracts with L’Oreal cosmetics and Victoria's Secret, and has been the face for many brands like H&M, Emilio Pucci and Miu Miu, strutting her way on the ramp for them.

She's also the new face of CK's fragrance line, making it clear why the 29-year-old model is so high on this list. Kroes, who is apparently heading to space as part of a charity drive this year, also has her very own cashmere sweater line.

 Adriana Lima

Joining the Dutch beauty is this chica from Brazil, whose prolonged contract with Victoria's Secret, has helped her immensely with her modeling career. With earnings totaling $8 million, Lima shares second place with Kroes.

Making a comeback as the face of Maybelline, she has modeled for noted designers like Giorgio Armani, Vera Wang and Valentino. While her ad campaign list includes names like Versace, BCBG, Louis Vuitton and many more, Lima was recently signed on as the face of the Spanish brand Desigual.

 Kate Moss

She was recognised with an award for a 25-year contribution to the world of fashion at the 2013 British Fashion Awards; and her high-flying career has earned Kate Moss third place on this list, with reported earnings of $7million in the last year. While her campaign for Calvin Klein has gone down in the annals of fashion history, her association with brands like Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Chanel and Rimmel has added to her kitty.

After the success of her first apparel collection with Topshop in 2007, she launched a second line this year and was also made the face of the Stella McCartney Fall/Winter 14 line as well as jewellery designer David Yurman's collection.

Kate Upton

Making her debut on this list, Kate Upton’s Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover shoot may helped up her profile in the last year. Upton, who was once criticized for her fuller hourglass figure, is on this lest with an income of $7 million.

From signing up with names like Bobbi Brown, American fashion brand Express, Sam Edelman, David Yurman and Accessorize, the 22-year-old also made it to the silver screen with a remarkable performance in The Other Woman.
