It starts with Naomi Campbell proclaiming that "people don't teach you how to be famous," and goes directly into a scene with gorgeous models strewn around a luxe hotel room, presumably after an awesome night out. Maybe it's how you imagined the life of a supermodel in the '90s, or the reality of being a rockstar — and that's most like what you should be thinking when you watch Duran Duran's new, highly anticipated video by Jonas Akerlund for "Girl Panic!". Starring models-as-bandmates, Naomi Campbell is lead singer Simon Le Bon, Eva Herzigova is Nick Rhodes, Cindy Crawford is John Taylor, Helena Christensen is Roger Taylor, and Yasmin Le Bon (Simon's wife) is an unknown guitarist (apparently the band has had some turnover in that role). The lady's prance around London, pose for a photog, roll in luxury cars, all set to a really good song — in other words, the music vid was worth the build-up. Watch on and recognize that the hotness of these ladies does not diminish with age.
