With a fashion heritage of 40 years and humble beginnings as a specialist bridal store, D’Oré re-opened its doors on Thursday 23 May, unveiling a restoration of elegance and style, elevating the stores aptitude on competing at an international level with global boutique stores.

In addition to the well-loved brands that the store has stocked over the years D’Oré’s expansive selection of top international fashion offerings include and owns exclusive rights to brands such as Emilio Pucci, Escada, Elie Tahari, Rupert Sanderson and Vanessa G London which South Africa has not seen before.

To further communicate the inspiration behind the new D’Oré experience, the cross-dressing of art, couture and self-expression has come to life through painstakingly crafted origami dress displays, created by our very own acclaimed designer, Gavin Rajah.

The launch party which saw both celebrities and socialites mingling around the same table was an indication of that which is to come as the store will attract people from all walks of life whom at least share inspiration for beautiful things. The store is truly an amazing experience which reminded me of something seen on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood.
