Last week marked the much-anticipated Asian début of the world's premier international art fair, Art Basel. The renowned art fair, already a prominent annual event in its namesake home city in Switzerland as well as Miami, has now branched out to Hong Kong, establishing a dialogue between art collectors, artists, dealers, curators, critics and art lovers from an Asian perspective for the first time.
