Designer Riccardo Tisci wanted to portray the euphoric energy of a rave in Givenchy’s Fall 2012 campaign. This led photographers, Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, to capture the models in a blurred motion as to emanate the essence of ravers. The campaign featured model Stella Tennant, which Riccardo Tisci chose because of her energetic beauty that exudes both masculinity and femininity. The French house took an androgynistic approach to the collections this Fall introducing both masculine and feminine elements in both their men’s and women’s collections.
