"We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience"

Teilhard de Chardin

And for me that insight changes everything. It puts the horse before the cart, the master above the slave, the 'being and doing' above the having; and most joyfully, blissfully, gleefully, at the very least, non-judgementally, allows for mistakes!

You don't have to be perfect you see. Just human. You don't have to get to, or qualify for, anywhere. You come from there in the first place.

And thus the simplicity of god is this:

That magnificent, majestic, abuntantly expansive life force that pushes a blade of grass through concrete and could blow endless mass apart to create an eternal universe of billions times billions, actually has a consciousness. And we're here to experience and create with it inside us, in form. It's nothing that rules our lives from the outside. Just ours to experience and create with, consciously. It is, essentially, us!We get to have the life-force in us, like everything does. But our final gift is the ability to know its spirit as ours.

Legendary astrophysisist, Carl Sagan, put it another way. He said that through us the Universe has become aware of itself. I think we're here to live its awareness. Either way, what a gift! Which makes the eternal irony of what god is commonly believed to be, even more poignant. How childlikely ironic that the breathtakingly creative consciiousness we externalise and hand over to, is actually here trying to be us.

Like they say in kissing catches, "you're it". Now for god's sake, pucker up, close your eyes and linger in the all-expansive forever that flows through you! Find your own way of being, from which flows your natural way of doing, through which your ideal way of having will come! Create, don't just produce. Experience, don't only consume.

Be honest about what really moves you. And give god a good time!

Strato, often we neglect our life force! Thank you for this well written reminder.

Is it pushing through the concrete? or the creeping through the cracks?
