I am all about the hottest trends when it comes to shoes. I L-O-V-E anything with a sole, whether it's the latest Louboutin or a pair of golf shoes. I have been a closet shoe hoarder since I could walk in my mom's highest pumps and don't think I will ever grow out of it! This seasons footwear fads are all over the board and I found a few new favorites that are heating up the runways from New York to Milan.

Bling

Shoe bling is another trendy way to update your shoe style. Rhinestones, jewels and anything that glitters is white hot right now and is a fun DIY trend. From Charles David to Marc Jacobs, bling is being seen on feet all around the world! Check out craft stores for bling to buy and follow the heel or make your own design for the top of your pump to give it a little extra “umph”.

Kitten Heels

Along the same lines as the wedge, kitten heels are a 50's favorite that have taken over every runway. Replacing the mile high pump, kitten heels are sort of the mini heel with a half inch to inch pump, just enough to get a leg up. Bows and jewels are hot accessories for the heel this summer and colors vary from nude to neons, all great choices for this trend.

Color Blocking

A popular fad in purples and yellows, color blocking showcases two or three definite shades on one shoe, making it pop! Great for the double platform heel, color blocking has become the “it” look of 2012.
