In Toto Gallery is hosting an exhibition in collaboration with Art for Humanity and KZN Artusts in aid of raising funds for promotion of sustainable business strategy coaching and support for emerging artists in South Africa.

Bonnie Kaplan is the originator of KZN Artists and gave birth to the idea of promoting emerging artists while coaching artists to become entrepreneurs in their own right. During the coaching Kaplan realised that many emerging artists needed a promoter or agent, and so decided to create a platform where she could promote these emerging artists from which to continue their sales and have the opportunity to be introduced, seen and encouraged.

Kaplan believes emerging artists need a committed, responsible and reliable agent to promote their work so that the time they spend on their own marketing is enhanced by KZN Artists as their agent.

KZN Artists aims to develop disadvantaged artists who have the potential to become well known, sought-after artists.

Kaplan is sourcing art from disadvantaged artists and, as the business grows, KZN Artists will assist in developing them. Many artists have no studio from which to work and sometimes no homes either, yet their desire to produce quality artworks overrides all of these difficulties and in this varied and exciting exhibition we are given the opportunity to encourage and assist their progress.
