Joburg Ballet will present "Celebration 7" as part of their new Spring Season (28 August - 13 September)  at the Joburg Theatre. This is a six-part programme featuring new works which include classical as well as contemporary dance.

Adele Blank-  one of South Africa's renowned choreographers and Artistic Director of Free Flight Dance Company- creates Cross Dress- which features music arranged  by Tony Bentel and costumes designed by  SA fashion designer Andrew Chandler for Black Coffee. Blank is known for pushing the boundaries, so this one cannot be missed.

Another original piece is presented by senior soloist Juan Carlos Osma- Twitter, which looks at the effects of social media, in addition to Kelsey Middleton's Last Supper, with music by Nianell, Vangelis and A Great Big World.

For the ballet lovers, the classical showpieces Pacquita and La Vivandiere are on the bill.

Tickets are priced at R100 each throughout the theatre, which is a steal for world class dance.
