I’m so tired of the modernist restraint, the focus on form and function and enough white empty spaces hardened by glass and steel to make me want to jump out of a window. I like a bit of ott, a little shishi, a little oolala, I say More Is More! This blog pays homage to the gold on gold, the #allblackeverything, the animal print, some sparkle, faux fur for our Peta pals, French bubbles and YES, all of it in excess!

I think that a drinks trolley is such a glamorous way to serve guests at your own little soiree! It reminds me of an old school sophistication, style it up well and you’ll be the hostess with the mostess!

I think we can all agree that a home bar set up can often be a bit kitsch, BUT, give us a metallic mosaic backdrop, industrial barstools with some sheerling seat covers, and all that’s missing is the Veuve and some Hotel Costes playing in the background!

A bare wall or little nook of wasted space holds endless opportunities to become something super stylish with a powerful statement! It doesn’t need to be overly “done”, this image shows that the right design choices and the right pairing of pieces, can create the bold and the beautiful- incredible drama! The kind we like…

Dark walls, accents of gold, a great light, cool art and a faux fur throw are fantastic ingredients to make a space exude the glam factor! This bedroom is quite minimalistic, but the textures, colours and accessories are perfectly indulgent, love love!

It comes, and keeps coming, but it never goes. It’s the colour of all things haute, it elevates the luxe factor, and we are pretty obsessed, as you can tell by every single picture having an aspect of this decadently dark shade!

The classic combo of black and white is and forever will be chic! Adding some interest in pattern is key, and a subtle pop of colour here needs to be just on point. Crushing on the layering of chevron, pretty pink flowers, stripes and then our favourite Fornasetti!

And then this happened! NEED to be here. Between the black lacquered Baroque table base, to the brass instrumental light and the quircky art, I just don’t know what to do with myself! This dolls, as we South African girls say, is just beyond!
