Giorgio Armani Dressed the Oscars - 2015

February 23, 2015 (Milan) – Giorgio Armani dressed select nominees, presenters and attendees at the 87th Annual Academy Awards®, as well as guests at various events surrounding the Oscars. The show took place on Sunday evening, February 22nd at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. The Oscars were broadcast live on ABC at 5:30pm PST / 8:30pm EST

 

Presenter Naomi Watts wore a Giorgio Armani Privé high neck light green organza gown with spiraling ruffles trimmed in white and jet black crystal beading. The plunging back is accented with a large black silk gazar band encrusted with crystal beading.

 

Milena Canonero, who won the award for ‘Best Custom Design’ for The Grand Budapest Hotel, chose to wear a Giorgio Armani outfit.

Leslie Mann wore a Giorgio Armani white silk one-button shawl collar tuxedo with satin lapels pocket details.

 

Behati Prinsloo chose to wear a Giorgio Armani Privé black bustier and full length skirt that are both encrusted in a blend of red beading and palettes. The mermaid style skirt is overlaid in black tulle.

 

President of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, Cheryl Boone-Isaacs wore a custom Giorgio Armani sapphire blue silk gown that features pleated long sleeves that give a butterfly wing effect. The bodice is accented with a swirling pattern outlined in sapphire blue embroidered sequins.

 

Roberta Armani chose to wear a custom Giorgio Armani black silk sleeveless gown with a fully encrusted crystal inset bodice. The dress is accented by a soft knotted waistline detail.

 

Clint Eastwood wore a Giorgio Armani midnight blue two-button notch lapel tuxedo with a classic white evening shirt and a bow tie. Eastwood’s film “American Sniper” was nominated for Best Picture, which he directed and produced.

Nominee Morten Tyldum chose to wear a midnight blue wool and cashmere two-button shawl collar tuxedo with a classic white evening shirt and a bow tie. Tyldum was nominated in the Best Achievement in Directing category for “The Imitation Game.”

 

Nominee Damian Szifron wore a Giorgio Armani black two-button shawl collar wool and cashmere tuxedo with a classic white evening shirt and a bow tie. Szifron was nominated in the Foreign Language Film category for “Wild Tales,” which he directed.

 

Presenter and face of Armani Code fragrance, Chris Pine chose to wear a Giorgio Armani black double breasted peak lapel tuxedo with a classic white evening shirt and a bow tie.

 

Presenter Sean Penn wore a black two-button peak lapel classic suit with a classic shirt and a neck tie.

 

Presenter Liam Neeson chose to wear a Giorgio Armani midnight blue two-button notch lapel wool and cashmere tuxedo with a midnight blue classic shirt and a neck tie.

 

Adam Levine performed the nominated song “Lost Stars” with his band Maroon 5. Levine wore a Giorgio Armani black two-button shawl collar wool and cashmere tuxedo with classic white evening

 

shirt and a bow tie. Maroon 5 members James Valentine, Mickey Madden, PJ Morton, Jesse Carmichael, Sam Farrar and Matt Flynn selected various tuxedo ensembles by Emporio Armani.

 

Third time Oscar show producer, Neil Meron, wore a Giorgio Armani black velvet double breasted jacket with classic evening pants, a white evening shirt and a black velvet bow tie.

 

Third time Oscar show producer, Craig Zadan, chose to wear a Giorgio Armani midnight blue double breasted peak lapel microfiber tuxedo with a classic white evening shirt and a bow tie.

 

Damon Wayans Jr. wore a Giorgio Armani black two-button peak lapel tuxedo with a classic white evening shirt and a bow tie.

 

Chord Overstreet chose to wear an Emporio Armani black one-button narrow peak lapel tuxedo with a classic white evening shirt and a bow tie.

Jonathan Groff wore a Giorgio Armani black two-button notch lapel wool and cashmere tuxedo with a classic white evening shirt and a bow tie.
