Every so often I get an email that makes me think "I would want to win this". This was one of them...

When thinking of pairings remember that Shiraz is a gutsy varietal with decided tanins. It's spicy with bold, unapologetic flavours that go well with game, stews and rich red meat dishes. Caroline's Wine Warehouse will post the best pairing ideas to their Facebook page, so my advise would be to conjure the ideas with a glass of Shiraz in hand. But that might just be me.
