A very Exaggerated Show with many interesting characters parading the runway was put on for the Wae West Collection at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Jo'burg.

The inspiration for the Collection stems from the most feared event — The Collapse of the World. There were strong references to Comic Heroes, Fantasy Art, Costumes and Theatrical Direction. Genna Wae Webster, designer behind Wae West, loves the idea of having multiple disguises, because she believes that within us, we really have different people — this was evident with the abundance of various characters within the show.

Wae effortlessly adapts forthcoming fashion trends to suit the local consumer. A mixture of Various Prints were noticeable on the runway. Working previously on brands such as Ecko, Zoo York, David & Goliath, as well as her current portfolio of Bad Girl, Gotcha Girl and Lost Ladies (now branded as Black Sheep) ... We can't wait what this designer has in store for us next.
