This may be old news to many but I wanted to re-itterate this campaign as it blew me away.  In September last year, TOPSHOP made a dynamic move which celebrates the prominence of social giants INSTAGRAM and FACEBOOK, by enabling the London Fashion Week experience to be curated by their communities across a series of platforms, culminating in a SOCIAL CATWALK which unveiled part of the TOPSHOP UNIQUE SS15 collection exclusively on FACEBOOK, and not on the runway.

For the first time, customers were able to own a piece of the runway instantly. Six pieces from the collection was on sale in the Oxford Circus store immediately following the show, and orders from TOPSHOP.com was delivered in a matter of days.

 

This brave move transformed the way people think about marketing a brand as well as shopping.  More up-to-date than this you can’t really be, well done TOPSHOP and all the creatives behind this campaign.
