Sometimes we fall into a dark hole and the thought of what to do to get out just seems like an intangible dream...so what do we do? We just sit there with no thoughts, no ideas, just empty moments, breathing in and out unconsciously with no desire to change this train of thought.  When an idea pops in our heads we just head butt it out again, like an annoying fly coming to distract our attention from our self pity. These dark holes differ in size depending on how the individual feels about certain issues e.g.

RELATIONSHIPS: this seems to be a huge problem causing a lot of potholes on our way. Those that can't believe that they haven't met someone, and those that can't believe they chose this particular one.
FINANCIAL: For some this is all about status and power and others it is about survival. In a world that makes us believe that our self worth can only be measured by money, you can see that this dark hole could possibly be quite deep, because of this unanswerable question, ”just how much is enough?".

My advice is this: When you find yourself in this predicament you can stay in it for a day or two, see what it is all about, experience nothingness, then look around and find any glimpse of Hope, because I guarantee you She is somewhere here, and allow Hope to will you back to your path. There is still so much to experience, ups downs and all arounds.

What I know for sure is that we are never given anything we can not handle - “THIS TOO SHALL PASS" always gets whispered in my ear. We are more resilient than we think. I have seen thousands of people survive the unthinkable.  Look around you, there is someone that has endured, survived and still stands, with a fire in their eyes, to see what’s nexts. This act of courage is so moving that it makes me feel embarrased about my self pity.

Let them be our inspiration, and let’s do better to lift ourselves and each other, because a spirit defeated is a loss to us all.

Blue is such a beautiful colour, it evokes the opposite in me...Should be referred to as "the Browns" but then again, would I enjoy the sound of "the Blues" as much if they called it "the Browns"??
