As you all know tashas le parc opened on Wednesday in Hyde park Corner. It was a super successful day for Natasha and her team and neofundi was there to experience it all. tashas le parc is a unique extension to the tashas brand. The other stores all have the same classic menu complimented by a small and unique signature menu. Le parc is all about a french influenced menu yet includes a couple of tashas classics. It has a unique look and feel - from the logo to the packaging to the menu.

tashas Hyde Park have a small bakery producing many delights including: health bread with cranberry & seeds, rye, baguettes, kitka and my all time favourite coconut bread. This coconut bread is used to create their mouth watering French Toast Breakfast.

Another unique dish that will give you plate envy are the crudites. Hot spot Le Club 55 of St Tropez is famous for this crunchy crudites platter that is served with boiled egg and is accompanied by a saucy anchovy and mustard dip.

The Italian homemade ice cream is dreamy. Natasha made me try the vanilla scoop with cherry preserves on a cone...try it, you will know what I mean when you do:)

I used to travel from Pretoria to Jo'burg specially to have the SOLE that used to be on the menu of Santorini.  As far as I understand from centre management, the majority of the team are now at Tashas.  Does anybody know if they have the sole on their menu as it is not normally on the advertised Tashas menus. Alternatively, is there anybody out there who could convince them to serve it again..?  Best I ever had, not even in Cape Town could I find a finer sole.

Hi Martie, I have just spoken to Natasha from tashas and she says that you should go to tashas le park in Hyde Park and try their soles. The Santorini team is also there. Speak to Kathy:)

Hi Alexandra, I could not have gotten better news today - thanks a million for the trouble. The sole at what used to be Santorini, was prepared in lemon butter only and it was absolutely fabulous. Before today when I phoned Hyde Park to find out where the chef had gone, I tried various restaurants' sole in Pretoria, but it is just not in the same class. Brilliant, thank you!

@Martie, it's a pleasure. Let me know how it goes. Remember to ask for Kathy and tell her about the sole at Santorini:)
