This month we look at Superdry, a funky UK based label inspired by Japanese and vintage-Americana graphics, resulting in uber chic street-wear for both men and women. Superdry opened its first stand alone flagship store in SA last year in Sandton City and has fast become a label to be reckoned with amongst all trendsetters hopping around the streets of SA.
Superdry offers their consumers easy to wear casual gear with a difference. Although their clothes are a little more casual, they’re made only of the finest materials. Specializing in uber cool leather jackets for winter lined with chunky knit ribbing in some or stud and zip detail in others, their clothes appeal to a wide audience.
As a woman, I enjoyed looking through that which is on offer for men as you could imagine your toned bod man looking well groomed in their fitted jeans, collared “lumberjack” shirts and stylish military type jackets. For the ladies, if you like turning down your heels for the weekend, look no further as you’ll be able to stock up on super cute casual gear.
So, if you wanna be street smart and help set the trend like many others around the world, including the likes of David Beckham, hop into the only store (for now) in SA at Sandton City.
