Smitten by Smitten!

Recently I stumbled upon a wonderful new shop called Smitten selling amazing home decor and gifts. The shop is located in the Farriers Center just off Constantia Road and the space is light, white and breezy with large open doors framed with vines opening onto a gorgeous courtyard. Smitten features gorgeous goods which are all exactly in line with my own interior design style and I loved it so much that I popped by a few days later with my camera and snapped some pics!

My favourites include the beautiful range of ceramic bowls, jugs and mugs, the lovely Christmas display table with unique glass decorations and their wonderful collection of pretty ribbons, I couldn't resist buying some ribbon for my Christmas gift bags but I have a problem which means they may not make an appearance on intended gifts as I find it so hard to part with pretty ribbons and can't bring myself to give them away on gifts!

If you are in the market for a pretty present for that special person - or even for your special self - then take a turn to Smitten, but be warned it's hard to remain a browser! It is definitely a far more pleasant shopping experience than the usual shopping mall bun fight at this time of year and there is plenty of free parking. Farriers Centre is also home to Farriers, High Tea coffee shop and Gingerlily Spa.
