Johannesburg is a beautiful city and I was lucky enough to cycle through the city last Friday night. Keeping in mind that I have not ridden a bicycle since about the age of 8 (a good 18 years ago), I loved every second of it. Over 1200 people gathered at Neighbour goods Market in Braamfontein and we began our journey through town, Yeoville, Troyeville and Hillbrow. 20km’s, 2 hours later, a bit bruised and tender but feeling super inspired we finished our cycle.

Critical Mass happens the last Friday night of every month and I definitely suggest you try it out. It’s not only for super fit and sporty, there is no dress code (only a helmet – safety first) is required. Make it a first-date to remember or simply ride through the city with friends for an inspirational and fun ride.
