Sensational – Cara Frew

We were recently introduced to the latest singing sensation to hit SA, Cara Frew, at an intimate live acoustic evening at Circa Gallery in Rosebank.

I just have to say, before launching into the capabilities of this amazing singer…it’s the first time I’ve been to Circa and has quickly become one of my favourite places in Johannesburg. The view is incredible which set the tone for a perfect evening.

Cara is a beautiful young woman with a very special pop/jazz voice. As she opened her mouth to sing her first note, goose bumps covered our bodies like a gush of wind. Her voice is so unique. You may describe it as smooth, honeyed, modulated or even just simply, appealing….very appealing.
