Looking for something special to do this weekend in the Mother City?  Prepare yourself for some fun in the sun with the annual South African Maritime Safety Authority (SAMSA) and Calulo Ocean Festival.

Celebrating every aspect of the ocean, the festival promises to deliver on loads of fun including incredible music, delicious food, kids activities and tons of more exciting ocean related content.

Visitors to the Waterfront can expect a variety of fun activities from visiting the Clipper Race Village and experiencing the Open Boat tours between 10:00AM-18:00AM until Friday, watching an exciting demonstration of a new sport - the Jetovator between 18:00 – 19:00 to trying out the ice baths on Friday between 16h00-17h20. The Amphitheatre will screen the South Africa VS Argentina rugby game on Friday; you don’t have to worry about missing the live action.

 The Lighted Boat Parade begins on Friday 30 October at 18:00pm - 20:30pm at Jetty 2/Quay 6 and will end off with an exciting performance by Beatenberg. Families and friends can gather at different viewing spots along the Waterfront to watch this annual spectacle.
