Don't wish for it...work for it...*

OMG there are so many things on my wish list for 2013...some things frivolous and fabulous like these Brazilian beauties...

And some things, that are more profound; such as personal goals and fitness aspirations, not to mention career goals, which are fast and furious pursuits.

I can't believe that 2013 is already underway and in full swing AND it's my birthday week YAY! January holds so much hope for me, as it is not only a fresh start to the year but also the month in which Capricorns seem to soar! It is also a month which is perfect for propelling ideas born on the beach, into production.

So how to put these pipe dreams into plan...? I always find that writing down my goals helps transform them into a reality, because putting them on good old-fashioned paper gives them weight and almost makes them attainable (like saying something out loud); not to mention that feeling of achievement, accomplishment and exhilaration when you can cross one of the items off the list. (deleting an item off the list on an iPad is somewhat not as fulfilling!)

So with January half way through already, what have you planted, what have you catapulted into action for 2013? No pressure of course, but nothing happens unless you DO, and as the old saying goes: “If you do what you’ve always done, you’ll get what you’ve always got.” So many people are quick to complain when others are succeeding, dismissing their drive with comments like “she’s just lucky,” or “right place, right time” or “I wish that was me;” but it never dawns on them that it takes blood, sweat and tears to get there; and that endurance and endless hours of work have gone into making it happen.

In the words of Bob Hope: "I have always been in the right place at the right time. Of Course, I steered myself there."

With an unending list tucked under my arm, I am taking 2013 head on, and am proud to say that I have already ticked off a few of those items; and am rocking and rolling merely two weeks into the year! I am driven and determined to make every day count, and to flourish in the industry which I love and am passionate about. I have not forgotten my three words; and I am committed to embedding passion, integrity and ambition into every single thing I am doing.

What are you waiting for? Get out there and go after the guy, or girl or career or crazy adventure; but most importantly, stay hot on the heels of your passionate pursuit until you can tick it off the list.

Simple.
