What do u love most about your job?
I love everything about it. My colleagues are my 2nd family.
I love the whole work environment and the way in which each project is different. In my role as receptionist and office manager, I get to meet so many different people – which is something I love too. I have often heard Richard (our MD) say that we are not just furniture shop and if that is all we are seen as by our clients, then we have not done them or ourselves any service. I love this approach to what we do!

What is the one thing u can not do without?
My faith, it keeps me sane and grounded.
From a material perspective, I could not live without my lip gloss from L’Oreal, its very light and keeps my lips soft and moist.

What is your ideal holiday?
Aah holiday…… being woken up by the fresh, cool breeze and the smell of the sea.

What makes u smile?
My husband. He’s got such an amazing sense of humour.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
That is easy….. Italy and Paris, because I love good quality and finer things.

Do you enjoy a challenge?

Yes. I believe if you approach it with a positive attitude, you could learn from it.
I look at challenges as exactly that - a learning curve and opportunity to grow!

Favourite restaurant?
Browns in Rivonia, they serve incredible food and their wine list is unbelievable.

Who do you admire and why?
My mom. She is a Strong, humble and God fearing woman.
In the context of my work environment and as I learn more about office furniture, I have a lot of admiration for Sir Norman Foster. He has collaborated with some of the world’s leading office furniture manufacturers and has created some amazing furniture items. A true meeting of functionality and high design!

I love the Vuitton task chair. This is a chair that is exclusive to Inspiration Office and at under R2,000 is a lot of chair for the money! It is also a chair that we carry stock of so is readily available for our clients. Ergonomic, aesthetically beautiful and cost effective!

Tip on how to create a great office space

In my role as receptionist and office manager at Inspiration Office, this is not something that I am involved in on a day-to-day basis. Having said that, observing our sales team and how projects have come together, in my opinion the key lies in selecting the right partners to bring about the desired end result.
There are so many factors that need to be considered in the modern work space that I would have to say my tip would be to select the right professional team. Naturally, this team would always include Inspiration Office!
