The fact that the painter Omar Ortiz is in the shot, doesn’t make the paintings any different. Guessing that these are oil paintings is really difficult as his paintings seem so real. Just look at the detail in the hands. The Mexico-based artist often only features three elements, a white setting, a human figure and some strategically draped fabric. His ability to paint the human hands with such detail is astounding and mesmerizing. Most artists say the hand is the hardest part of the body to recreate.
