Whether delicate, rounded and pink or sharp, catlike and bold, nails have always served as a canvas whereby a person can display their artistic sensibilities.  The art of spicing up our fingertips began in China in 3000 B.C. Later, women of the Chinese Ming Dynasty put on artificial nails to separate themselves from manual labourers. The 18th century Greek ladies wore pistachio shells on their hands, and since then, we have witnessed plastic white tips, rhinestone flowers and polished names that covers the entire spectrum of color ("Ladies and Magentamen," "San Tan-tonio").

Renowned multi-medium artist, Dzine embarked on a nail décor project which has added a new twist to “old art”, known for his blend of beauty, desire and myth, his talent included the best of claw embellishments which are a punk-chic blend of old-fashioned trinkets and courageous bling. Through this stunning artwork, he was chronicled in "Nailed: The History of Nail Culture and Dzine", Standard Press and Damiani Editore.

Am so in love, the art, the design, the approach to them both. Dzine deserves a bottle of the finest champaigne
