To honour the influential Spanish painter Pablo Picasso, Montblanc has unveiled two intricate Artisan Edition writing instruments. The one known as the Limited Edition 91 has been cast in 750 solid gold and features an 18-carat gold rhodium plated nib carved with Picasso’s famous “Ojo” drawing. This $33,800 masterpiece sports a barrel with lacquered red bands that are reminiscent of Picasso’s Spanish origins.

The second is a fountain pen known as the Limited Edition 39; it comes with a cap that is made of 750 solid white gold and a diamond. This precious pen honours the 39 paintings and drawings of Picasso’s muse “Sylvette David”. It is available at a whopping $55,000 in a worldwide Limited Edition of 39 units.
