Miranda Kerr has been chosen to wear the Victoria’s Secret‘s 2011 Fantasy Treasure at next month’s presentation. Valued at $2.5 million, the bra is inspired by an underwater dreamland of luxury, exotic glamour and sexy aquatic Angels.

The Fantasy Treasure Bra was created by London Jewellers in Long Island. It boasts almost 3,400 stones, of which there are 142 carats of yellow and white diamonds.

The Fantasy Bra is featured in the 2011 Victoria’s Secret Christmas Dreams and Fantasies Catalogue arriving in mailboxes nationwide on October 21st.

Miranda Kerr will be modelling the head-turning piece, which took over 500 hours of hand embroidery to craft, at the Victoria’s Secret fashion show on 29 November.

Each year a top model is bestowed the honour of modelling the Victoria’s Secret ‘Fantasy Bra’.

Kerr follows in the footsteps of big names Tyra Banks, Heidi Kulm, Karolina Kurkova and Gisele Bunchen – who modelled a bra worth $15m in 2000.
