Masking to Reveal Radiant Skin- Filorga

Sleep is such an essential part of health and well-being- there is no doubt about it. Getting your "beauty sleep" is not a myth- whenever you have a really good 7-8 hour sleep, your skin usually looks its best, as sleep is necessary for cellular regeneration and restoration. When you don't get enough, you often don't look too good.

Thankfully, I sleep really well, however one needs a little help from our aesthetic medicine friends once in a while, especially with the busy festive season coming up. I have been testing the new Filorga NCEF-Night Mask for the last two weeks and so far, I have loved the results. This mask kick-starts the regenerating process with its active ingredients that work through the night- New Cellular Encapsulated Factor (NCEF), which contains hyaluronic acid and 50 skin regenerating ingredients including vitamins, minerals, amino acids, coenzymes and antioxidants. Three ingredients- Melatonin’CX®, Hyaluronic Acid + Collagen and Red Indigo Extract provide intensive nighttime recovery, correcting the signs of skin ageing by acting upon wrinkles, firmness and radiance. In the morning, my skin has looked smooth and hydrated- despite having the fan on all night (mosquitoes, heatwave, etc).

Because we have had such hot weather, I keep mine in the fridge and after cleansing my skin in the evening, I apply the gel-like cream to face and neck (blissfully cold) and it's quickly absorbed, not sticky at all, so there's no rinsing or wiping off like a regular mask. Just leave it on and go to bed. It's really smoothing and decongesting- good for tired, stressed skin. You can use it as a night cream or as a twice weekly mask, depending on your skin's condition. A lovely addition to your skincare regime.

It's available in selected Edgars, Red Square and Clicks stores.
