Masha Reva, artist and designer makes use of fashion as her medium. Her recent collection is homage to pattern on pattern, nature vs. nature.  She has gone into the realm of shoes as well, which in my books are quite amazing. They are handmade by local artisans, using cotton as the main medium. This designer is well on her way to greatness, and I would love to see her progress throughout the years. Her methodology portrays the fact that although we are immersed in the technological culture, constant visual, emotional and physical information, and nature is of the utmost importance if we are to succeed in this new matrix of life.

Our connection to nature and our daily devotion and recognition of it is imperative to our sanity; we need to balance the energies if we intend to integrate it with the right intentions. Her images resonate a modern Renaissance, and show that we are constantly bombarded with images, things, ideas...overload.

Reva states that “Becoming a part of virtual reality, a computer data, we merge within the boundless informational field that is internet. The situation within the visual stream we deal with every day — from one point it is related to the layering of information within our mind, from the other, it has a certain connection with print”.
