Winner of the Bar-One Man hunt Lushwill Rossouw was given the keys to his new Harley-Davidson V-Rod Muscle 2012 valued at R300,000 at Harley Davidson Morningside.

Not only is he sporting a torso made of sculptured marble he is a breath of fresh air-well spoken, friendly and a gentleman. All I have to say is well done Lushwill!

Lushwill Rossouw was the last man standing in this year's Bar-One Man Hunt reality TV series on SABC 3, which put 25 contestants' physical and mental fitness to the test with testosterone filled challenges.

After ten gruelling weeks, in three countries, thousands of auditions, hundreds of hours of filming , a huge amount
of cuts, bruises , tears, belly aching laughs and camaraderie the result was that he victoriously walked away with
prizes to the value of R1 million. Neofundi.comgot the opportunity to chat with this modern day gladiator.

What have you learnt about yourself in this competition?
From this competition I have learnt that even when you think that you down and out one needs to dig just a little deeper and believe in oneself and then there is nothing one cannot achieve.

Has this changed your perception of reality television?
The show has certainly changed my perception of "reality" TV. Yes, I can now relate to contestants on the different shows.

Whom did you consider as your greatest adversary in the show?
I considered Paris as my greatest adversary in the show. He was both mentally and physically strong and it did eventually end up being a tie on votes between us.

What do you feel was your greatest accomplishment on the Bar-One man competition?
I personally think that the greatest accomplishment on the Bar-One man competition for me was not only facing my fear of heights but also conquering it.

What would you like to achieve next in your life?
To be on the cover of Mens Health magazine, to do a sub 1:30 half marathon and also to one day qualify for the Crossfit Games.

Is there one thing you wish you could redo in the competition?
The journey through the show was life changing and I wouldn't change a thing.

Have you formed any solid relationships with any of the contestants?
I have formed very close bonds with Paris, Michael and with Dene and I think we will be friends for life.

When things got tough, what kept you going?
In the end it was the BIG prize! I believed that it would and could kick start my dream of owning my very own Crossfit gym.

What helps you switch off and relax?
I enjoy spending time by the ocean fishing. This helps me switch off and relax. It’s my "reset" activity.

What was the first thing you did when you won the competition?
I had a silent scream of joy. With the heated voting and the build up to the evening I was emotionally drained by the time the winner was announced.

Your motto in life?
"Carpe Diem"
