The much-anticipated launch saw Luminance founder Khanyi Dhlomo present at this fashionable do whist John Jacob, from John Jacob Interiors who designed the interior of the personal shopping room as well as the rest of the store, give an address about the concept behind Luminance and its fantastic decor and interior.

Teresa Alho, Luminance digital editor spoke on how Luminance strives to understand the importance of their customers’ style and the value of their time.

“From the busy executive to the frantic housewife, our personal shopping service aims to take the stress and fuss out of shopping, by delivering a tailored and focused retail experience.  ”Teresa explained that clients can access the service by appointment only. Consultations are one-hour long and can be made by either emailing or calling the store.

The convenient service includes; a one-on-one consultation with a best suited Personal Stylist in the private shopping room, complimentary refreshments from The Library at Luminance, gratuitous expert fitting and tailoring, direct delivery of your purchase to your home or car and a Bobbi Brown makeover and/or an Armani Privé fragrance testing experience.

Guests were gifted with goodie bags which were filled with luxurious brands.  From Carolina Herrera VIP fragrance, YSWARA tea, Bobbi Brown make-up, Merci Finest Selection Chocolates and Mc Vites Biscuits. The Southern Sun Hyde Park Hotel sponsored the gourmet array of French cheeses whilst everyone sipped on Mumm champagne and Hamilton Russell wines.
