Lufthana’s new innovation Business Class Seat and Cabin for Lufthansa’s Boeing 747-8 fleet, designed by PearsonLloyd, developed in collaboration with Lufthansa and B/E Aerospace. PearsonLloyd won the project after extensive time, effort, and energy in the investigation of cabin space and passenger ergonomics, resulting in this amazing and elegant design resolution. The finished product provides a lie-flat bed of 1.98metres, giving the highest value and comfort to the passenger, with regards to seat space, functionality and the overall feel within the cabin environment.

For instance the new business class seat and cabin designed by Hackney studio PearsonLloyd for German airline Lufthansa launched this week.

The back of the seats shell houses entertainment and storage for those behind, as well as foot rests divided by a central fin. Furthermore, tray tables, life jackets and storage are located in the central console, which has space on the sides to allow for more room for your shoulders when lying down.

The materials and colour palette’s were selected from the finest by the finest in order to create a more domestic atmosphere than Lufthana’s usual industrial look.

What an amazing flight experience. Definitely taking one of these trips at some point.
