Let's have Coffee...Doppio Zero & Craft Coffee get together

Jozi loves coffee- most of us even work from the “coffice”- and if you are fussy about your brew, then you have probably had a great cappuccino with your breakfast at Doppio Zero in Sandton.

But now this established Café spot goes the extra mile to bring you a new caffeine hit, adding to its already impressive selection. Local roaster from Newtown, Craft Coffee, has partnered with Doppio Zero to produce “The Newtown Blend”- a merge of 60% Ethiopia Yirgacheffe and 40% El Salvador- a really gorgeous citrusy dark chocolate and sweet spicy taste. A light, medium roast with a full- bodied  flavour.

Just as you would pair a delectable wine with a sumptuous dish, Doppio zero and Craft Coffee put their heads together and came up with offerings on the menu that would marry well with the Newtown blend, i.e. lemon slice brulée, fudge brownie, apple puff tart, or for the savoury lovers, chicken and mushroom pot pie, Buffalo chicken, Haloumi and roast veg and pork belly, to name but a few.

These beautiful pastries are made by Doppio's baker....
